Set a Preferred Payment Method
ORDER MANAGEMENT > CUSTOMER > ACCOUNTS
You can set a preferred payment method from the Saved Payments tab of a customer profile, so that the preferred payment method is selected by default when placing an order.

No payment methods are marked as preferred by default, unless a preferred or default method is always set by the payment provider. |
|
•
|
When a preferred payment method is deleted, the preferred flag is removed as well. |
Before you can set a preferred payment method, the payment method must already be stored in the Saved Payments tab.

Double-click a customer record then click the Saved Payments tab. |
|
2.

Locate and select the payment method that you want to set as the preferred method. |
|
3.

Click Edit. |
|
4.
|
Click Expand before the scope display name to see the payment provider details. |
|
5.
|
Click the Preferred radio button next to the payment method that you want to set as the preferred method. |
You can have one preferred payment method per payment provider.

6.
|
Click Save. |
